WOMB OF PURPOSE

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations." - Jer 1:5


Purpose is one of the most important things to discover while on earth, yet purpose is one of the first thing that happen to us even before we were given birth to. Before Jeremiah was formed in the womb - the purpose of his life was already stated out, though it took a couple of years for him to discover. The truth remains that, what he realised he was as a youth, he had already been while in the womb.


How could it be that some of us who cried purpose right from the womb, turn out differently or turned out as total strangers to what we were in the womb. As our bodies begin to take form and we mix with the environment, many begin to drift away from the purpose God ordained them for even while in the womb. This life is a quest for purpose, if a man does not realise the role of living for purpose - such a person would turn out to be an accidental pilgrim.


I bring to you today, an important matter as the Lord presents it to us today, you are not an accident, the Lord has a purpose for you - you only discover your purpose at certain time, you never created it, it has always been there even while you are in the womb. God is pointing us to a very deep phenomenon as people gloss over it. If you realise that purpose is what you were born with, you will give more attention to your tendencies or psychological reflexes in order to quickly rediscover what you were in the womb.


Is there a way that we can discover what we cried out from the womb? Is it possible to come into that purpose even after some detour? How far are we from that person the Lord ordained us to be even before we were formed? These are one of the few questions this piece will try to help us understand. It is not only in the case of Jeremiah - I sense deeply in my spirit that irrespective of your birth condition, whether in wedlock or outside wedlock - God ordained all of us for purpose even while in the womb.


PURPOSE CRIED FROM THE WOMB
"But the children struggled together within her; and she said, 'if all is well, why am I like this?' So she went to inquire of the LORD. And the LORD said to her: 'Two nations are in your womb, two peoples shall be separated from your body; one people shall be stronger than the other, and the older shall serve the younger.'" - Gen 25:22-23


For Esau and Jacob, the race started even before they were named, they struggled to get their identities, they didn't know which would be younger or which would be the older  - but they were anxious to come out. Write in the womb - nations were ordained to come out of Rebekah. She was sensitive enough to inquire. Our parents can help us discover purpose if they become sensitive to the events that surround our birth or what the Lord said to them.


Somehow, Jacob discovered his purpose and he himself determined to fulfill the purpose. He was ambitious, he made sure that he got his elder brother's birthright, he schemed his way to received his elder brother's blessing - he was determined to achieve his purpose his way and forgot that he himself was not the inventor of his purpose. All he ever did got him into a long route. He ran away from home, served longer than expected for a wife, at a point, it was about children and he was missing in the whole puzzle.


Let no man think that, he can by his own will and strength get to his destiny. It happened one night that Jacob was at the mercy of Esau whom he had cheated, the purpose seem far like the opposite, but that very night - Jacob before an angel struggled but nothing could bring forth the purpose - until he was broken. That brokenness of the spirit is the prerequisite for God helping us out as regards our purpose. Understand that while we were in the womb, we only depended on God for survival; this should be the idea even in our quest to fulfil the purpose.


"And it happened, when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, that the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. Then she spoke out with a loud voice and said, 'Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb!" - Luke 1:41-42


Right inside the womb, John the Baptist caused his mother to respond to the purpose of his life. He leaped at the One whom he had come to serve. He was to  herald the coming of the Lord and at that point he did just that. Purpose is not too complex, purpose is what we are born with, if we do not rise to the consciousness of this, we would become total strangers of ourselves.


Many of us day in day out come in contact with our purpose, those who should partner with us on the route to destiny yet, nothing is yearning in us, nothing leaps - we do not inspire any form of divinity or show any form of purpose - we have lost our identities. That which John the Baptist was in the womb - he become years later when he proclaimed; 'behold, the lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world'.


In case you are a parent, it is necessary at this point for you to help your child, you must understand what his or her cries were; there is a purpose this child yearned towards. The mother of Jesus was observing and keeping and pondering on the strange wisdom that proceeded from the mouth of Jesus. We shouldn't be surprised that she prompted Jesus for a miracle at the wedding ceremony. If we leap towards purpose appropriately - the people around will respond accordingly.

WHAT IS CONCEIVED IN HER...
"But while he thought about these things, behold an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, 'Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.'" - Matt 1:20


In that state, Joseph was confused, didn't know where to begin from, how would he explain the purpose of this great event happening in the womb of Mary. He understood that he was to marry Mary, but this newly found purpose in her womb is confusing to say the least. It is at a point as this that we need the heavens to give us a clearance of what we carry. Sometimes, the things we are drawn to, can be strange - yet we must seek clearance.


That which is conceived of her is of the Holy Spirit, is such a strong and profound statement that many of us should hear in order to clear our worries. What the Holy Spirit conceived in Mary is Holy - the product or the outcome cannot be unholy. The things we are drawn to can be cleared if there are certified by God as Holy. The Holy Spirit can't conceive in us unholy things as our purpose.


Jesus was what was conceived in her by the Holy Spirit, and His life can be a clue to validate the worthiness of that which we think is our purpose. Jesus who was conceived in her is Holy, Jesus who was conceived is True, He is greater than all, He transcends beyond the realm of the earth. We can check that great purpose of ours with the features of what obtained in Mary. Is that your purpose greater than you, those it glorify God - these should be a validation of what is inside of you.


"No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days." - Exo 23:26


No one is permitted to suffer a miscarriage of purpose in the kingdom, it is what has been ordained by the Lord, and though we may be in situations that may not be favourable, we may encounter some things that threatened the ideas, you are not permitted to suffer a miscarriage. It is an ordained decree, if every pregnant woman understand that purpose leaps inside of them they will apply the scripture to see it birthed.


How can the Holy Spirit conceive in you yet you say you are finding it hard to scale through, do you think God will give you a purpose that you cannot attain? If you understand how much God counts on that which is conceived in you to come forth- you will walk in the consciousness of being unstoppable. Though the people may scorn at you, saying that this your purpose is not fashionable, they may laugh and say that your purpose as disfigured you, as a pregnant woman would experience some unpleasant changes - yet you must walk in the fact that nothing should make you suffer miscarriage.


As long as you have come of age - you have no excuse not to be walking in purpose. In fact, the world itself will ask you what you brought forth from the womb. Though it could come with pains, but you must endure and move out. I think I need to ask you squarely, what is that which is conceived in you?


MERCY IS THE CURRENCY OF PURPOSE
"Can a woman forget her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, yet I will not forget you." - Isaiah 49:15


We have seen the greatest of cruelty from biological mothers who are void of compassion towards their very own seed of greatness, we have seen mothers abandon their children and left them for dead. They never understood what they carried, and they don't know that there is a greater One who causes the whole world to stay alive by mercy.


It doesn't matter if you are being treated harshly because you understand your purpose, the brothers of Joseph who shared the same womb with him were very cruel because he cried the cry of purpose, yet God's compassion overcame every hate he encountered on the journey of purpose. God's mercy is available to that person who so desires it.


Don't act Mr strong, because many have tried discovering or even living the discovered purpose yet they have always hit a brick wall, but because you are in the kingdom a great mercy has been shown to you to run through it all. You can count on His mercy and reach the finish line.


 "So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy." - Rom 9:16


Understand that the capital of purpose is mercy, let no one dispute this, because many have tried the same thing, but have failed and have become frustrated - so understand that mercy is a necessary requirement for anyone to walk in purpose. Though anyone who has come to Christ can be said to have encountered mercy - yet in the context above - it is the fuel of purpose. It is a constant factor that helps us to a destination of impact.


To depend and see the relevance of mercy, is to court the mercies of God - in fact, the scriptures say that His mercies are new every morning, it therefore shows that you have a renewed mercy to run with daily and this can take you far in the field of purpose. Those who have gone ahead on this path of purpose will realise that it was mercy that brought them far and sustained them. Don't underestimate this powerful act of God.


His mercies fail not, it is as sure as the day - this is what brings us to the height of fulfilment. It is a benefit from God that we cannot do without.


CONCLUSION:
There is a womb of purpose, what you cried in birth is what you should cry now in life. Check your purpose with the Holy Spirit, and depend on His mercy.
