DEADLY SAINTS!
"And no wonder! For Satan himself transform himself into an angel of light." - 2Cor 11:14
To the undiscerning, these deadly saints are highly esteemed and revered, they creep into the church full of zeal yet, they are responsible for the coldness on the pulpit and carnality in the congregation. They preach a message of liberality and encourage profanity. These men are deadly!
It is not everyone in church, that are redeemed, it is not everyone that is a 'brother' or 'sister' in the Lord. They come to you as if they need counsel but they want to cancel your name from the book of life...while the Christians slept the enemy came and mixed themselves, sowing tares among wheat, watering down the undiluted word of God and killed the spirit man.
Achan was in the assembly of the children of God, joining their fellowship, doing the normal worship and singing hymns, yet this man caused the downfall of many and until he was identified...he was the brother who also was the killer! Eli's children were priests in the temple and they also were the ones defiling the temple...when they bless the sisters, it looks like blessing yet they were cursing.
How do we identify these wicked men? How can we begin to avoid these 'saints' that want us to break consecration? The works of saints can be faked, the fruits cannot - if we test their spirits, we would be able to know where they stand. They call Him Lord but He is not their Lord. They are evil, they are sent to quench the spirit.
DISGUISE
"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves." - Matt 7:15
How many have become Jacobs to the blind congregation of Isaacs, they have clothed themselves with sheep hair to become worshippers, and they have stolen our blessings away! In this case, the members could be the Jacobs or even the pastors - and vice versa. It is disheartening that in this era, where we know that revival is needed, we are no where close to it, because those who frustrate this revivals are the ones mainly clamouring for it.
I have seen people who put on postures like spiritual beings, but they only use that as a disguise, they have crept into the church unnoticed and are really dealing with us. But there is a DNA of the genuine Christian that makes us know that they are fake. They have plenty works but they lack the fruits of righteousness.
How can we not know these men in mask, when we have suddenly become complacent of our duties, we see these mask when these men help us to disregard sin as 'grace' - O, we know that this is the hand of Esau, the voice of Jacob - this discrepancy calls for scrutiny, we cannot afford to shake it off.
"Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men's bones and all uncleanness." - Matt 23:27
This outward appearance is not even a compliment, how can one's appearance be compared to the house of the dead? This is how those who disguise themselves look, they pay so much attention on the outward but there is something foul about their physical appearance, to the undiscerning, they look beautiful but they are dead inside, full of uncleanness, looking to 'sanctify' their carnality with superficial activities - woe unto them!
They can disguise themselves as miracle workers, they can come in the mask of dedicated workers, they even have a look of the regenerated but they are wolves in sheep's clothing, but we know that the news we hear aren't great. The people they lead are no where near spiritual - these are deadly people.
The moment we discover their pretence, we must avoid them. They are everywhere, seeking relevance in the kingdom yet holding tight to the world's credence - you can't serve two masters. Your Christianity will only cause more harm to the fold - please excuse us!
FORM
"having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!" - 2Tim 3:5
This deadly saints sometimes carry a form of godliness but are colder than the refrigerator, they seem to be the historians of the church and exalt themselves as spiritual beings...they want to lead, they are involved in activities - but they are cooler than ice! Anyone associated with these ones will become a church commentator or analyst, but of course, the spiritual being would have nosedived.
Worship can be faked, head knowledge is not equal to depth, even some rhema cannot produce anything except excitement - brethren, these are forms or shadows that indeed lacks substance. We must be able to engage the spirit of God in us, to always test all spirits. If we ignore the test, we might fall a prey.
These people would talk about themselves more than Jesus, they would insist on themselves being teachers but are never teachable..they are ambitious, one may be deceived to think they are sold-out for Christ, but it's all lies...they want to sellout.
"These are spots in your love feast, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots" - Jude 1:12
These men with a form have once experienced the power of God and have once stood for that which is true, they have known God to a measure before they fell from grace...because of their hardened heart, they have refused to be convicted, they have long been cut off from the vine, but before they wither, they look like they are still attached.
These deadly saints with a form of godliness are no longer satisfied with the commendation of God, in fact He can't commend hypocrisy - the man whom God commends does not shop for men's praise! But the one who have lost face with God will do everything from activity to carnality to be recognised amongst men even if he impersonates a saint.
This is how we know those with a form, they are critique of almost everything that's happening in the church, they seem to ignorantly think the church's spirituality is measured by their standard, and the saddest part of it is that they have gullible followers whom they have led astray. You say they aren't doing it right...yet you don't seem to inspire any form of spirituality.
FRUIT IDENTITY
"Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness" - Gal 5:19
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness" - Gal 5:22
The deadly saint is always working and never growing, they have a zeal without knowledge - the very things their works produce are contrary to the kingdom nature. They say they are dedicated, but their dedication is evident in the protruding tummy of ladies in the church. When we refuse to seek fruit, we will see evidence of works that is unscriptural.
That brother and sister who is always concerned about welfare of the brethren, without warfare of the spirit will land in trouble soon. That saint who is always concerned about the platform without being a platform for Christ will soon become a disaster for the faith. The things they do seem good, but they have refused to place importance on fruits that can never be faked.
Works are important, but if we do works without the fruits of the spirit, it will result into works of the flesh. You can't go on corrupting babes in the faith and excuse yourself on the altar of 'grace'. You need help, before the wrath of God comes upon you.
"For every tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush" - Luke 6:44
The reason we are doubting all your tongues and spiritual gymnastics is because of what you do when no one is watching, we are afraid to follow you - because your anointing only shows on the altar, after that, nothing edifying comes from you. This is wrong and this is confusing - a tree can only bear one kind of fruit.
A saint becomes deadly, when the saintly life is only seen in the church, you are a fighter and gossiper and you expect that we take you as harmless? Fruits cannot be faked sir. How come the pictures on your phone are not born again? How come your ringtone isn't spiritual - we know you are not saved by those but spirituality changes our nature and taste buds.
The fruits of the spirit is love, patience, peace, joy, kindness - but we are only seeing 'gifts'. We are not deceived dear 'saint'. By your fruit we want to identify you - not by your gifts.
In case you have paid less attention to this important fact, reconsider and make amends - that the righteousness and fruits of the spirit begin to bud inside of you. It cannot be overlooked!
NO MORE!
"but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was." - 2Tim 3:9
When the Lord beams His light on this evil doers through His word, He intends that such hypocritical beings should desist, they should leave or be disgraced, they should stop on be stopped. We can't have thieves as pastors, or fornicators as singers, we can't condole corrupt brethren as ushers anymore - the judgement of the Lord is upon them.
Let those who are discerning enough, begin to resist such deadly saints in the congregation of the Lord, they will rebel and want to cause trouble - but we must stand our feet and make sure they proceed no further - if we are silent, they have permission to silence the spirituality of the church - they must proceed no further!
"And He said to them, 'it is written, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer' but you have made it a 'den of thieves.''" - Matt 21:13
Don't just stand there lamenting, begin to expose them and upturn their tables. Your knowledge of the Word should increase your zeal to expose these deadly saints. They must be disgraced, we must take spiritual warfare to them, casting down their altars, - and of course standing by His grace.
If you have any Christain 'brother' who only breeds carnality around you - begin to watch out. The carnality may even dwell on spiritual matters, please run for your dear life, before they infect and infest the church with the virus of spiritual deadness.
CONCLUSION: Not everyone who calls Him Lord, accept Him as their Lord. They come in mask and different forms for the undiscerning - but their fruits will surely give them away. We must resist these deadly saints.
