SEXUALITY

"Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose." - Gen 6:1-2


One would wonder why heavenly beings or sons of God would be looking at beautiful girls, much less be sexually attracted to these beautiful daughters of men.


All the hallelujah songs of heaven and the spiritual atmosphere did not cure or neutralise their sexual urge.
If sons of God are getting aroused sexually, and it is even recorded in the sacred book (Holy Bible), which is suppose to help us....then we must be awaken to our sexuality and understand that God put those urge there as part of creation for procreation and pleasure.


Why are we usually set on a edge on sexual matters especially we, who are part of the faith, how come we say little about these things, yet fall headlong by them.


Some people are aware of these yet such knowledge have brought them to the pit, some have looked to the world to teach them, yet they got themselves obsessed in lust and have misunderstood the whole concept of sexuality.


Sex and sexual feelings are inborn and if not managed appropriately will lead one to disaster.


It is nobody's fault that you feel the way you do, your disposition to sex and feelings are a product of what you have stored in your mind. If your textbooks of sex is pornography or 'blue film' or better still x-rated movies; you'll definitely become a slave to your sexuality.
Let's get few orientation from the scriptures, as we learn about sex.....


UNFOUNDED WORRIES & PERVERSION


"We have a little sister, and she has no breasts. What shall we do for our sister in the day when she is spoken for?" - SOS 8:8


Attaining puberty comes with some very amusing worries, a young girl begins to worry about the shape of her body, or how appealing she appears to a boy, she'll check her 'backside' and wonder if her 'front' is ok....when she dresses up, her goal is to be sexy, likewise a young boy, who won't let the mirror rest because his six packs must show.


In the above text of Songs of Solomon, it was the men and siblings of the girl that was worried about her - yet when the lady responded, she responded with so much confidence, stating that she had all they were worried about, they couldn't see it, because she wasn't showing.


She didn't have to subject herself to sexual perverseness on the altar of acceptance before she appreciated herself the way God saw her.
Hello girl, you don't have to hear people call you 'sexy' to feel beautiful, o boy, your six packs is useless if you only have packs or trash on your head.


You worry about your chest, yet you do not have God in your heart, this girl worries so much about her face, yet she doesn't know that the glory of God is not radiating there.


"Now Adam knew Eve his wife, and she conceived and bore Cain, and said, 'I have acquired a man from the LORD.'" - Gen 4:1


One would wonder what kind of 'know' Adam did not know before, that this 'know' produced a son. This is a total deviation from what is applicable to us in this generation.


A girl is eager to let herself known to a guy who isn't committed to her, she would unveil and undress herself to be known by a guy who doesn't understand the sanctity of what he sees!


People who are involved in premarital sex don't use the word 'know' - you'll see a boy bragging about how he has 'banged', 'fu*ked', 'match', or 'humbled' the girl - and that is what it is to a guy - a contest.


All the words used are expressions of his orientation of what sex is and what it should be...but ooo no, it is perversion and lust that has taken over.


"I will praise You, for i am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are Your works and that my soul knows very well." - Psalm 139:14


If your soul doesn't know that you're wonderfully and fearfully made, people will take advantage of you and give you a false assessment. You'll only be beautiful to them when they have tasted you.


O boy, your broad shoulder is useless, if you don't carry responsibilities.


BEAUTIFUL INEXPERIENCE & PDAs


"So it came to pass in the morning, that behold, it was Leah. And he said to Laban, 'what is this you have done to me? Was it not for Rachel that I served you? Why then have you deceived me?'" - Gen 29:25


One will be quick to see that Jacob was a novice - or how can one explain him not noticing, through the shape, voice or even some steps that, that wasn't Rachel.


My guys in this present day, wouldn't fall for such, it is impossible - maybe he was been paid back in his own coin, since he deceived his father and took Esau's blessing (just a thought).


We would do well to learn chastity at its heights through the life of Jacob; and that, it is possible not just for a lady but also for a guy to be pure till the wedding night.


Such a matter would have been strange for some of us, who even though we don't have sex, we would have done some touching.


"When he had been there a long time, Abimelech king of the Philistines looked out of a window and saw Isaac caressing Rebekah his wife." - Gen 26:8


Many intending couple usually ask, how far can one touch his or her babe, Public Display of Affection is common everywhere today, but can we trace such affection shown to the world as marriage?


Abimelech saw what was going on through the window and rightly discerned that they were a couple. The lady that you're smooching and fondling, who is she to you?


Somebody is tapping current from you as if you're a transformer, yet you're shinning your teeth. It is virtue that the person is taking away.


Not trying to appear pious to you or assume myself a saint, but we can do nothing against the truth but for the truth (2Cor 13:8)


RED TAPE FOR THE OPPOSITE SEX


"Do not rebuke an older man, but exhort him as father, younger men as brothers, older women as mothers, younger women as sisters, with all purity." - 1Tim 5:1-2


If I were your brother, what would our level of relationship be? You say she is a sister in the Lord yet you have turned to Amnon in 2Sam 13 , where is the purity or where have you drawn the line?


Timothy was young pastor and Paul admonished him on how to treat sisters who are clamouring for attention.


The devil's throne has to be on your life for you to be sexually involved with that your sister in the church! I personally wouldn't want my sister to be the object of lust for guys. Brother, the lady is your sister.


"Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart." - 2Tim 2:22


The world is full of sexual voyeurs who are bent on impure thoughts and perversion. You must chase and follow those who call upon God with a pure heart.


Don't be deceived, you can tell what a brother wants from what he says, use your initiative and flee before you even start fasting and casting.


Maybe it's because of what you'll get, that you have abused the temple of  God - don't you know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.


The Holy Spirit dwells in that sexy body and will not permit sex outside marriage - don't ask me how He will permit it later (topic for another day).


Joseph left his good clothes in the hands of Mrs Potipher and wore prison clothes for a short while, before he was clothed again.
You don't have to be sexually perverse for clothes and recharge cards, leave it with the guy and soon - you'll be lifted.


Conclusion: Is your body burning with pleasure? Or it seems someone has set your body on fire, and this fire is not of the Holy Ghost - quench the fire.


It is normal to feel so, yet is is abnormal to give on while you're single.
