DON'T LOSE HOPE
"For there is hope for a tree, if it is cut down, that it will sprout again, and its tender shoots will not cease. Though its root may grow old in the earth, and its stump may die in the ground. Yet at the scent of water it will bud and bring forth branches like a plant." - Job 14:7-9
If you have lost your hope, you better go and find it, he who is living without hope is not fit to live. Everyone who is living should know that hope kept you alive. Don't contemplate suicide yet, don't give in to fate yet - if there is hope then there is life. Hope keep things alive, hope keeps us running..hope is the currency of an achiever.
It is possible all the chips are down, and there is no logic in hoping, it is possible that, disappointments has made you stop believing, you are even angry at anyone trying to encourage you for hope...please hope.
It cannot be over except you dash your hope, it can continue if you keep your hope alive...do not think that your case is beyond repair, do not think you cannot receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost anymore, do not think that addiction cannot be broken, do not think that relationship cannot be restored. If I hope, it will propel me to search on, if I hope, possibilities will come to me, if you hope yes you, you can live again!
For the child with cancer, for that man with AIDS, O you who have been called barren, it is in your will to hope. It is the capital that keeps you loaded. It is the reason you live. A life filled with hope is a blessing to the world. Let's give hope to someone, let's help keep hope alive, let us reach out in hope of the gospel. Hope, it is for our tomorrow!
HOPE IN GOD
"Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His countenance." - Psalm 42:5
Begin to ask yourself why you have suddenly dashed your hope? Begin to search within yourself and see whether you can find answers to the disquiet in your spirit? The things you considered hopeless are possibly because you hoped in man, hope in God and of course He won't disappoint. Even if you lost the breadwinner of the house, your future is not tied to him or her.
Some have lost hope as regards their marriage? Martha lost hope about her brother Lazarus, because logically death brings an end to everything; but when the hope of glory Himself appeared on the scene, the hope of everyone came alive. He should be the one will place our in; not in government, not in the system...He can help.
Even a dying man can have hope, Titus 2:13 tells us about a blessed hope, for us as Christians hope should not die, our hope even in heaven, that though some bad things have happened, the hope of our heavenly home will make us joyful and expectant. The Christain cannot and should not lose hope.
"But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope." - 1Thess 4:13
There is hope for that person who doesn't even have faith to be healed but can still hope and rejoice in the destination ahead. Heaven gives even the destitute hope. The Christain should never be without hope whether living or dying.
The Scripture is a message of hope for you, if you don't have it, it is your fault, if you don't embrace it, you will think all hope is gone. There is hope for you dear brother, the future still has something to offer, you need to hope in God to live in it.
AGAINST HOPE, HOPE
"who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, 'so shall your descendants be.'" - Rom 4:18
It is not logical to expect miracles in some situations, it is possible that you are the cause of your problem, and people have told you to accept fate - that is a 'contrary to hope' matter - but you can still hope for a miracle. The miracles of God has never been subject to man's estimation or reasoning. He alone fulfills our hope.
A little boy can hope for the weirdest of things and even boast that when he grows, he will attain some feats which seem impossible. We must begin to hope for the weirdest of things, it looks contrary to hope - but God can fulfil a hope that will seem like a lie.
Even faith is channeled through hope, as it is the substance of things hoped for. I do not really care how it will sound, that the dead can rise, though it is contrary to hope - we can hope against this hope.
"For surely there is a hereafter, and your hope will not be cut off." - Prov 23:18
Does it look like your hope is gone, why not believe in the Word of God today and trust that your hope shall never be cut off. Maybe you have decided to leave a case and stop hoping, but right now, I think I need to let you know that it is not the end. Even if you ignore it and don't want to sound hopeless, hope in the hopeless situation.
Now, this is for that person who has become a byword, your family can't help you to be better and you also seem not to be able to help yourself - and you have lost hope. It is possible you are a drug addict, or addicted to habits, you continue to suffer relapse even after going through rehabilitation. Dear friend, Christ is not lost, your hope cannot be lost. I know you've lost productive years doing nothing but managing that case - against all hope sir, please hope!
RECEIVE HOPE THROUGH HIS LOVE
"Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us." - Rom 5:5
Hope springs from the love of the Father, often when I read the scriptures and see a place that states; 'as the Lord lives', my heart melts in love knowing that He cannot die, and there is no end to my Hope. It works through a pouring of love into our hearts. The person who is filled with the love of Christ is filled with the Hope of glory.
This is where hope comes from, for that person who receives the fountain of Hope, Jesus the Hope of glory. I am excited to talk about the One who is hope personified, my soul leaps in joy because this Hope does not disappoint.
If you receive Him, there will be no hopeless case to you, even in death you will be able to hope...in the time of despair you will hope, you will hope because your Redeemer lives. A person without Christ may never know how to hope supernaturally, though the person uses 'I hope this' and 'I hope that'. But there is a hope that flows from God.
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." - Jer 29:11
God is the giver of hope, and if anyone will believe in Him, even lost hope can be restored. Peace may be far, evil may abound - but anyone who embraces the Lord's love will receive calm into his life and then, such a one can love again. It is not a fluke - it is a reality that sits deep in our hearts.
Anyone who doesn't love God is hopeless no matter the dream, anyone who is not in faith cannot really hope, because our hope should rest on God's word and on His person that can never change. Brother, hope is of God, not of your imagination - your bubbles will burst when you discover you have hoped on nothing.
There is something called genuine hope, it is noble, it doesn't come to fulfil the lust of the flesh, but always glorify God. If I hope for grace, it is to His glory, if I hope for a miracle, His name will be glorified - God grants and bestows hope to everyone who receives Him.
CONCLUSION: Don't lose heart, don't lose hope - expect the brighter day and the receive the Giver of hope and it shall be well.
