TRUTH BE TOLD
"For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth." - 2Cor 13:8
Nothing remains constant than the truth, nothing is more reliable than that which is constant - the truth. Heaven and earth can pass away but the truth will abide forever. The whole statistics can tell of something, but the truth may tell otherwise.
Your evasive attitude to the Word of God does not alter it one bit, your criticism and refusal to follow the Scripture, because you want to be realistic does not change the truth or its Author. The prevailing circumstances does not also change the truth. Whatever is intended against the truth will turn out to be for it.
When men say that modernity cannot permit chastity or purity, it doesn't make the truth obsolete, in fact it makes it stand out the more...when there is a struggle to accept the truth or be convinced by it - such dispositions only makes the truth firmer. You can't fault it, you can't bend it.
If there is nothing we can do against the truth, it will be wiser that we begin to willingly do something for it, it is ideal to begin to embrace the truth because therein lies the bliss of God. In the truth lies love, any love without truth is deceit, it is in the truth that justice is established, anything against this is crisis management. It is in the truth that unity can prevail if not, discord will brew.
This piece is truth because it is the Word, it is long and tiring to read but therein is the truth. Like it, ignore, read it - it is indeed the truth.
KNOW THE TRUTH
"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth." - John 1:14
If you have not known Jesus as the truth, everything that you know are lies or facts that will change. It is in Jesus who is the eternal truth of ages, that all other truths are substantiated. If you think what you know is truth today without Jesus, such will change and it will become a lie.
Truth is not a fact in spiritual matters, truth is a being, as facts may change, truth is living and can tell itself in the lives of people. This truth is Jesus and anyone who denies that is living in a lie. This world that seems solid will pass away, then the truth you thought you knew would become a lie.
He is full of grace and truth, He is the source of truth. In Him was life and the life was the light of men. He carries light because truth dwells in Him. Don't stay in the dark as we often say, please see and know this Truth..that is Jesus.
"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.'" - John 14:6
Anyone who claims to be spiritual without knowing Jesus is actually just playing religion, anyone who denies the Truth our truth is only groping in the dark and will surely stumble. Truth be told, Jesus is the Truth, truth be told Jesus is the way, truth be Told Jesus is the life. Deny this and keep living a lie.
If you're going through an awful time and the situation seems wearisome and your heart is failing, the situation looks real and your despair cannot be denied, all these troubles can become a lie just by knowing the Truth Jesus. Nothing is Truer than Him who is the fountain of truth.
I also need you to know that this our Truth who is Jesus is pure, you cannot say you know the Truth and yet be filthy. O, you cannot say you have found the Truth yet you are a slanderer, O this truth is loving, you cannot say You know Him who is full of love, yet hate lies within - this Truth is so true in purity, in love and in totality.
USE THE TRUTH
"Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth." - John 17:17
We cannot say that a person knows what he doesn't use, if you know the truth why are you still corrupt, why are you still religious and not spiritual. Truth found is a cleanser anytime any day. Any one who has a grasp of the truth and lives by the truth will not be said to be tainted in any form. Truth sets us apart from the foes of the world.
The word of God is living, it has been living for ages and has been confirmed to be an eternal truth and if we don't use it to form the principles, values and foundation of our lives - lies will prevail. The truth that we find from the word and use will help us stand in truth.
Truth is the integrity check of any man's life...if you fail to say, walk or live the truth then you cannot be trustworthy. The truth of the word makes us people of integrity, if you believe anything order than this truth then it means other things have crept in.
"And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." - John 8:32
If you are still in chains then you haven't known the truth, as no one can fathom the depths of Jesus, you need to understand that truth has depth and you cannot afford to be shallow. The wickedness that rules this world has depth you can not use shallow truths to confront it.
If you are in chains and struggling with some kind of addiction, then you haven't found the depth of truth needed..any truth encountered is key for freedom and that is the truth and it is being told. Brethren, the devil test the depth of truth you know, and he holds sway on the throne of your ignorance.
Hosea 4:6 says "my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge", make that 'knowledge' truth. If you don't know the truth, the lies of the devil will dictate the way of your life.
"Buy the truth, and do not sell it, also wisdom and instruction and understanding." - Prov 23:23
The reason why you are held captive again after you had experienced freedom before, is because you sold the truth. When a man stops living the truth, he he selling it to the devil.
SAY THE TRUTH
"Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." - 2Tim 2:15
The truth of the gospel must be heard by everyone within earshot, the truth must be flaunted without shame or apology to anyone who is living a lie. We must be well informed through studying about the truth so that we don't become ashamed by the tricks of the devil. The truth must be rightly divided.
One of the most hypocritical statement that I have heard of all time from people is "do not judge". We become hypocrites when will don't tell the truth as it is or when we keep quiet about the truth... In fact, God will judge you. How can telling the truth be the same thing as judging? It baffles me when Christians who refuse to tell the truth become the accomplice of lies and falsehood.
Let us say the truth and let the devil be ashamed even though we know that the devil is shameless. The truth in our lips is the correcting tool of all lies that is in the world. You need to be informed about spiritual truths to be able to tell it though, and diligence is key to that. Don't be lazy about the word. Don't say the Scripture is boring, find a way about it... You need the truth on your lips.
"but if I am delayed, I write so that you may know how you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth." - 1Tim 3:15
Pastors and preachers and other ministers must know that the house of God is the pillar and ground of truth, stop feeding the flocks with lies that, all is well when sin is indwelling. Stop keeping quiet when you can see that people are going to hell.
How about this for a truth?
"Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruits of their doings. Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him, for the rewards of his hands shall be given him." - Isaiah 3:10-11
Tell the righteous that all will be well, tell the prostitute that hell is her home if she doesn't repent, tell that thief that if he doesn't repent, destruction awaits him - this is simple truth and not judging. Truth is meant for correction if it is in love and not a condemnation. The church must be the surest place to hear this kinds of truth.
Even the scripture say we can judge with righteous judgement, stop quoting Matt 7:1 out of context without understanding. It is only when the truth offends us that we call it judging. We must keep saying it.
CONCLUSION: We cannot do anything against the truth, rather we should know it, use it and then say it. If you're quiet about the truth, then you don't even know the Truth and you are a liar.
