I AM POSSIBLE

"But Jesus looked at them and said to them, 'With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.'" - Matt 19:26

The above scripture refers to a man who needed help for his soul, he wasn't contended with himself because there was disquiet in his soul. He was wealthy and almost had it all, but he desperately needed God. When Jesus spoke back to him and told him to sell all he had, the man became sad and it seemed to Jesus' disciples that salvation was impossible for the man.

Many times, because of the stigma we have, because of the many friends we have, because of the mistakes we have made - we and even those around us think that genuine salvation is impossible. But, dear friend, it is only with man that a new creation is impossible - but with God, a man who believes with God can get genuine salvation.

O, how we need a miracle of ourselves - how we need to look at ourselves and say it is a miracle that I am happy, it is a miracle that I am not dealing with low-self esteem, it is a miracle that I overcame that habit and addiction - O, it is a miracle that the spiritually miraculous is working in me - O what a miracle that God lives in me. With men, of course it is impossible and has been impossible, but with God nothing including me, shall be impossible.
I am the righteousness of God through Jesus, I am walking in the spirit, I am the royal priesthood by grace, I am the purchased of the Father through the blood of the Son, I am the one who will even judge the angels, I am the apple of His eyes - I am the rejected stone that has become the chief corner stone. The miraculous of God is first in the man, before we talk about the miraculous for the man.

This is not a motivational moral booster, at all - it is the testimony of a life that has been pruned, it is a life that has learnt through trials and temptation. It is the evidence of patience having its perfect work. It is grace personified - it is love unfolded. It is me, the miracle of the new birth!

JESUS MADE POSSIBLE
"For with God nothing shall be impossible." - Luke 1:37

Sometimes we have mistaken the dynamics of knowledge for the miraculous, but the miraculous is beyond human explanation and comprehension. The birth of Jesus was a pointer to what will be for the human race. His conception looked like the impossible that cannot be scientifically proven. His conception wasn't IVF, it's actually impossibility turned possible.

I imagine Ms virgin Mary going to see the doctor, I am sure the doctor would have said since the hymen is intact that, it was probably a pseudocyesis (false pregnancy). But really, only fools doubt proofs.

"Can anything good come out of Nazareth?" Was the question Nathaniel innocently asked but see, when God deemed His only begotten to come - He proved in His life that gold can come out of the ground. The virgin conceived, the virgin delivered, the Son was filled with wisdom, He found grace, He was without sin after being tempted - this can only be impossibility turned possibility.

"Is this not the carpenter, the Son of Mary, and brother of James, Moses, Judas, and Simon? And are not His sisters here with us? So they were offended at Him." - Mark 6:3

As if a carpenter is not qualified for the Holy Spirit, as if the bricklayer cannot comprehend the Scriptures, as if the girl in the ghetto cannot be inspired - and if they are offended, that's their issue; a prophet is not without honour except in own country.

Jesus showed us that it is possible to be One with the Father, O, Jesus showed us that a sacrificial life is possible, He gave us a new concept of leadership - the servant leader. Jesus against all odds survived the attack of Herod.

The Word became flesh and dwelt among men, the very God of heaven came down to earth - as He is, so we are in this world. The nature of Christ is possible with us. Something beyond the comprehension of men - yes my Lord didn't just make impossibility possible, He was impossible made possible. Hallelujah!

NEW BIRTH POSSIBLE
"Nicodemus said to Him, 'How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?'" - John 3:4

It is either it is too simplistic or too confusing, but we who have been saved know that the term "born again" is a possibility, we do not really understand the occurrence, but the testimony of that simple prayer of faith cannot be faulted - this "born again" phenomenon has made us possible!

How can one be born again, how can one be holy?, who told us that there is a home in heaven? The idea of the new birth is a mystery, but dear friend, look at us - we are the seed of Abraham - a child may not be able to know how, when and the process of conception - but we, the children of Abraham cannot doubt that we have been begotten again through Jesus.

So we were dipped into the water, it signifies the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus - it looks superficial - but we can't deny that this very simple process is one of the things that made us possible. I believe in water baptism, with my consent the Lord agreed with me and I became possible.

"Then the Spirit of the LORD will come upon you, and you will prophesy with them and be turned into another man." - 1Sam 10:6

Except a man be born of the water and the Spirit. This possibility is in two phases and once a person completes it, it is impossibility turned possible. And Saul became a new man by the Spirit of the Lord. Dear, friend, it is not by power or by might, it is not even by motivational books, we are possible because of the Spirit of God that came upon us.

Agree with it or not, the new-birth experience is a miracle that also comes through faith. Or how can someone explain that an alcoholic suddenly becomes sober, if it is not a miracle, how does one explain the power that works in the life of a believer. It is impossibility made possible that I, who was once lost is saved today.

You really need a miracle of your self today, you need that power of possibility that made Jesus possible. Are you thinking that you are too lost to be found, dear friend, the prayer of faith, that is, accepting Jesus can make you possible. Don't bother about how logical it is, this your reality cannot be compared to the possibility that will work in you if you accept Jesus and become born again.

BELIEVE IT!
"Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, 'Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!" - Mark 9:24

It is possible that the prostitute becomes sexually pure except sometimes there is unbelief in the heart. A person needs to deal with the unbelief that wants to make him or her a lost cause, a person needs to ask the Lord to help him or her to overcome the fears that comes with the new birth.

Most times Jesus couldn't work and He marvelled at the unbelief of the people. You're not okay that your case is bad, yet you doubt the possibility of becoming possible spiritually. Pray that the Lord help your unbelief, pray that your faith will sprout up - just as little as the mustard seed will do.

Why are you fearful? It is not in you or your capacity to make yourself new, it is not in your might - all you need do is to allow Him birth you - you allow Him by believing in the power of redemption, you allow Him by believing that His blood can make you whole, you allow Him by confessing that you need to be rescued.

"I said, 'You are gods, and all of you are children of the Most High. But you shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.'" - Psalm 82:6-9

A man in honour and does not know it is like a beast that perishes (Psalm 49:20), you don't have to die in that state of despair, you don't have to remain in that prodigal state - if you believe, the new you shall be brought forth and you become possible. Why should you die before your time?

Unbelief has been the bane of miracles in a believer's life - we doubt the capacity of God, we do not know how much He can work in us, we think it is not possible for us to be new, clean, refined and holy - that's just the lie of the devil to keep you from knowing that the King lives inside of you.

Begin to pray and cleanse yourself of every doubt, begin to tell the Lord that you believe He can do His work in you. Start to confess what He has made you by the reason of the new birth - really, because what is too big for your faith to say will elude you. The Lord can make you righteous, yes the Lord can heal your wounds, the Lord can fight for you, yes the Lord can take you there - O see, the possibility of being possible!

THE PLACE OF GRACE
"But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: 'God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.'" - James 4:6

Before you go ahead screaming 'I am possible', I permit you yo do that anyway, but please know that humility makes the grace of being possible a reality. Don't go ahead having an ego boost without a spiritual growth; which is first a work of the inside. Please recognise the place of grace and be humble.

Of His fullness not your fullness, so don't be full and foolish of yourself. We are what we are by the grace of God, it's just that pride makes the grace in vain. Possible people should remain humble so that more spiritual possibility can be produced from us.

Knowledge puffs up, but the man who allows grace to work inside of him - will be opened to more possibilities. Dear friend, there is much more possibility to that which is already possible - there is much more virtue that can come from you. Only be humble so grace lifts you.

"And He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." - 2Cor 12:9

Don't you forget that I pointed out earlier that this piece is not a motivational moral booster, it is actually a testimony of a life of pruning, a life of letting go and sometimes becoming 'foolish', the testimony of being possible comes from a life that has been worked on.

The grace of God makes us survive His various training, the trials, the temptations - it is the grace that is sufficient, that  makes a weak man produce power. It is the grace that made Rahab, a former prostitute to become one of the great-grand mothers of Jesus.

The trainings of God aren't easy, His chastisement to produce possibility is usually not palatable. O, Jesus learnt obedience by the things He suffered, that training wasn't easy of course it wasn't funny.

Dear friend, why not bend your knees and ask that the grace be sufficient, why not ask the Lord that He helps you so that your possibility does not become aborted.

CONCLUSION: God is a God of possibility and He wants to make you possible by His grace through faith - believe it and be humble to stay constantly in that grace.

God bless you, stay possible and I love you
