OPEN THE DOOR!

"Lift up your heads O you gates and be lifted up you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in." - Psalm 24:7

Access has to be granted before anyone can benefit or assess anything in the spiritual realm. The existence of doors not just doors but everlasting ones at that, is a pointer that if access isn't granted, blessings cannot be received.

If you don't know that your blessings are behind a door, the thought of requesting wouldn't even go through your mind. Knocking and assessing of doors is a spiritual principle that if your understanding isn't opened to, you will be deprived of your spiritual entitlements.

There are adversaries at the door, and though you're the one knocking, you must realise that it is Jesus that in you that really wants to enter. It is the King of glory that the doorkeeper opens for. A little child who accompanies his dad to a house can have the privilege of knocking, but it is because of the dad that such doors would be opened.

Sometimes the doors that are shut are the doors of our hearts, we shut Christ out of our lives or restrict Him to certain areas and tell Him sternly that our love-life, business or marriage is strictly OUT OF BOUNDS. Even this your door has to be opened, yes, it is one of the doors being referred to in this matter.

Don't take this crucial matter lightly, if you are shut against your divine entitlements, the devil can frustrate such a person in mediocrity and lack. Get ready to gain authority, through the knowledge of His word this moment and allow darkness give way to light.

If the doors of favour aren't opened, nothing can be given unto a man, if windows of heaven are not opened, no blessings will pour out, if prison doors aren't opened, captives are sentenced for life..

These everlasting doors must be opened!

AT THE DOOR
"and he will answer from within and say, 'Do not trouble me; the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give to you'?" - Luke 11:7

The truth of the matter is this, no door is just opened to anyone. You will have family members who live in luxury yet shut the door behind you and throw crumbs at you because you are just at the door. If you don't knock and ask for what is necessary no one will even answer from within - yes that is the reality.

For us in the kingdom, prayer is the knock we give to every door of our blessing. While working, relationship can open doors of opportunities, prayers knock the door of blessing. Sometimes the devil who shut the door will be faking sleep, the intensity of your prayer, yes your knock will give him no other choice than to answer.

If the doors aren't opened, we must not be satisfied with just answers, the idea of knocking is so that the door will be opened, not a voice...don't accept the voice that says 'your blessing is not around, check later'.. If the spirit leads you to the right address, please don't stop knocking until the door is opened... I must see for myself.

"For everyone who ask receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened." - Luke 11:10

They said you should stop disturbing that your knock is too loud and disturbing their peace, reply with a louder knock that the King of glory wants to come - and if they need their peace, they should open that everlasting door that is locked. The principle of heaven which is knocking and opening will not be exempted in your case.

The moment you can identify what is behind a door as your need, you automatically have the authority to knock, though the door may not be yours because it has been there for a while - I mean everlasting door, but please the blessings behind the door is your own... So ask for your blessing and ask to have the door opened.

"Behold I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and He with Me." - Rev 3:20

Even the Lord will follow this principle, He will knock and keep knocking until you open the door of your heart. When you ask who's there? He responds and expects you, I mean you to hear His voice and open the door.

But we know the stiff-necked nature of the human race beginning with the Israelite won't want to open, but He will keep knocking. In case you haven't opened yet, this piece is another knock on the door. Please open the door as He wants to come in.

THROUGH THE DOOR
"And after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them, Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, 'Peace to you!'" - John 20:26

If the door won't opened, we will go through it! Sometimes we will have to walk in the realm of the celestial that we just embarrass the ancient doorkeepers, I mean the forces, the adversaries, by going through the doors even when they refused to open it through our knocking.

1Cor 15:40 tells us of the supremacy of the celestial body over the terrestrial body, if the King of glory who is resurrected with the new body really works in us, then we will definitely go through locked doors and chained gates even without blinking. His power works in us.

Samson wasn't asking anyone permission to pass that night when He had to go through the gates, and of course the gatekeepers would have been there thinking they have shut him in, but when he needed to pass, the gates had to be lifted indeed - a city gate. You don't have an excuse to be shut out of your blessings or to be imprisoned in this life. If they don't realise that it is time for you to step out... Walk through the gate!

"And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." - Matt 16:19

There is a key that Christ promised us His disciples that gives us access anytime through any door. He said "I will give" - after the resurrection and accession, the keys have been given, the knowledge of this truth and the Word makes us handle this key - we use this master key in prayer.

In Acts 12, the Scriptures tell us that the gates opened to Peter and the angel of its own accord while they wanted to pass, this was made possible because some brethren were somewhere praying and using the master key Jesus had given to them. The chains broke when Paul and Silas used the keys and when the guards still stood in their positions foolishly, they, I mean the brethren were using the keys, Peter supernaturally knew that Christ has set us free from captivity.

It is an abuse of grace not to use grace, there is grace for violent prayers that shatter every chains, and also open every door, don't be 'humble' about this matter, get down on your knees and pray violently that the doors of your God-given destiny be opened. It is indeed true that the kingdom of God suffers violence - don't be gentle about it.

It was because the gates of Jericho refused to open that the walls had to fall, listen, if knocking is too civilised for the enemy to oblige, please pull down the door somehow. There are no prisoners in the kingdom.

IN THE DOOR
"For a great and effective door has been opened to me, and there are many adversaries." - 1Cor 16:9

Sometimes, the enemy lay siege for us at the open door, they know you have gotten through, but they won't hand you your blessings without a fight - just put on the whole armor. It is necessary and important that you know and get ready for warfare.

Esther had access through the king's court but if the golden scepter isn't stretched towards her, the adversary would have rejoiced over her. Her statutes has the queen opened the door, but if the scepter wasn't raised, the door of favour wouldn't have meant anything. There were executioners already waiting to kill her.

It is not just opening that ends the quest for the child of God, bravery to take that which belongs to us is also a needed attribute - don't be deceived to think the enemy will give or allow you get anything without a fight. Even when the Israelite entered through Jericho, they fought to be in it.

"I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word and have not denied My name." - Rev 3:8

If you keep His word and don't deny His name, the doors of favour and blessings will keep being opened unto you. The one who does the Word will abide forever in open doors. This is what keeps us in the blessings of the Lord perpetually. Begin to see to it that the door remains opened through warfare and obedience of the Word.

It is the King of glory, that makes the door open, it is doing His will that keeps the door open. Don't think that it is by your strength that the door will keep being open. Keep on abiding in the Vine that opened the door.

Tithing is a constant opening for financial blessings.

It is necessary to also point out here that, you don't need to be friends with the adversary, if they had their way, you won't be there, so don't let them turn your heart away from Him who gave you access.

DON'T KNOCK
"And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, 'Lord, Lord, open to us!' But He answered and said, 'Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.'" - Matt 25:10-12

There comes a time when the Lord will want to take us into His closet, those of us who opened the doors of our heart to Him will be secured unto everlasting bliss, while those who shut their hearts before will be shut out. He wouldn't pardon then, though such people will knock with tears, they are abusers of grace and He won't mind them.

There is a home, secured above that the Lord wants to give to the diligent and the righteous, those whose hearts never entertained the attraction of the devil, they opened their hearts only to Him and for Him to make a home. If He has found a home in your heart, He will take you home with Him.

Gen 4:7 points us to the fact that, sometimes when Christ is in, Satan may be at the door knocking, your heart cannot accommodate both Jesus and Satan, s decide who you'll accommodate today, so you won't waste away knocking at heaven's door when it's too late.

"So those that entered, male and female of all flesh, went in as God had commanded him; and the LORD shut him in." - Gen 7:16

The Lord Himself shut the door against those who made jest of Noah, the Lord Himself said they weren't qualified to knock, they all perished with the flood because they hardened their heart against the voice calling them for a communion with Christ.

This is not fiction or just a write-up of words made by man, it is to draw us to the reality that is inevitable, if you shut your heart, you will be shut out, God secures those who open their hearts to Him. Remember, no one can open the doors He closed.

There is no mercy in hell, that's a closed door against anyone there, there's no grace in judgement of eternity, that's a shut door. Don't even bother knocking.

CONCLUSION: The everlasting doors has to be opened, the gates needs to be lifted... Don't stop praying, keep knocking and you can walk through and take your blessings.

God bless you and I love you
